Let's work together.

I'm a Product Designer from Seattle and a grad student at the University of Washington's Human-Centered Design & Engineering program. My background is in cognitive science, human decision-making, and behavioral economics. Before UX, I worked as a behavioral scientist in the healthcare and tech industries. This role allowed me to implement and test real-world "nudges" to encourage desirable behaviors through smartly designed choice environments.
I am fascinated with people and understanding why they do what they do and how context influences their actions. I've been an artist forever, using my art to both express myself and impact others. What excites me most about design is its ability to nudge people's behaviors subtly.
Outside of work, I love hitting the road on a whim, coming up with new dishes in the kitchen, dreaming about the canine sidekick I'll adopt one day, keeping my resilient monstera plant alive, and growing my collection of unusual fonts.
Design Ethics
Every design choice I make is deliberate, grounded, and empathic. Welcome to my design manifesto.
I'm thorough when I work.
There's no cutting corners because the minute details matter to the larger design.
Ideas may be accidental, but design never is.
My every design choice is backed by intentions around the behaviors, emotions, and experience I aim to catalyze through the final product.
In my venture to understand people, my academic career threaded through a handful of allied fields - cognitive science, human decision making, behavioral science, and human centered design - and my design draws on each of these.
Something as impactful as design rapidly reshapes habits and mindsets at scale, this is a power I wield as responsibly as I can. I will always try to prioritize responsible design and moral design over any other factor.
Design is a tool that bridges the distance between pain points and effortless experiences. It is no wonder then that design often has a story to tell and I do my best to ensure the story is told well.
